Biology Students Showcase Their Research

Can Cannabidiol (CBD) reduce anxiety and depression in mice? Do those ultraviolet light wands really disinfect a surface? Those and other perplexing questions were answered Friday (Dec. 8) at the Biology Experience Showcase held in the Center for the Sciences & Agriculture.

Biology students Chas O’Connell, Bailey Hypes, Sophie Cornett, Liz Matthews and Savannah Cool presented the results of their research on poster presentations for their biology capstone class. They were available for a couple of hours talking about their research and answering questions from students, faculty and staff.
